Android 4.4.3 KitKat OTA update is now available for Moto G in India

Indian users having Moto G got a new reason to cheer up, their Moto G device will soon start receiving latest Android 4.4.3 KitKat update. It’s the same time when Nexus devices also started getting the 4.4.3 KitKat update.

Earlier this week we confirmed the Android 4.4.3 udpate for Nexus 4, Nexus 5, and Nexus 7 started to roll-out. The update on Moto G will be available over-the-air (OTA), on both single SIM international variant and dual-SIM India variant.

Earlier this week Motorola announced the roll-out of the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update on international variant of its range of Moto E, G and X smartphones.

Active users on XDA Developers forum have reported the the Android 4.4.3 KitKat OTA update for both Moto G variants is of 169MB in size, and bring the system version to 210.12.32.

One of a user having Moto G single SIM (international) user stated, “Motorola has started pushing the 4.4.3 update for Moto G. Looks like the download server is also taking a pounding,” a dual-SIM Moto G user in India tweeted, “Here it is! 4.4.3 update for Moto G (India).

Thanks @MotorolaIndia.” Some of the noticeable changes in the Android 4.4.3 include, a new refreshed dialer app, access to the Motorola Alert app and giving users the flexibility to pause video recording.

Motorola has stated that the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for Moto E, Moto G and Moto X also brings stability, framework and security fixes, as well as enhancements to the power profile capabilities.
