Couple of smartwatches based on Android Wear platform are in the queue to get released. In the meanwhile, the price of Moto 360 has been revealed by an online retailer.
Moto 360 is a smartwatch from Motorola and is based on Google’s Android Wear platform. In terms of design, the company has given the Moto 360 a round display, unlike other smartwatches such as LG G Watch or Samsung’s Gear 2 and Gear Neo.
Motorola has not made any official announcement regarding the price, hardware specs and availability. But several sources have pointed out that the Android Wear-power smartwatch might be officially introduced by Google and Motorola later this month at Google I/O event.
One British retailer, Mobile Fun has revealed the price of Moto 360, and according to them the device will have a price of £199.99 in the UK. That’s about $335, but we expect it to cost less than that in the States.
Regarding other information, as mentioned earlier no details are available and Mobile Fun also failed to reveal more details about the Moto 360, except for some general design highlights.
Now we’ve to wait couple of weeks more, once Google I/O opens its gates for the public, as we’re pretty sure we’ll find more information out there.
