Apple launches iCloud Drive for Windows, but Mac users have to wait a little more

Cheer for Windows users, but not the same for Mac users, as Apple releases iCloud Drive for Windows and making Mac users to wait a little more.

iCloud Drive is an online storage by Apple which allows you to store files, documents, photos and videos. Windows users can view and edit the iCloud Drive content via File Explorer. As far as Mac users are concerned, they’ve to wait for the OS X Yosemite which is expected to arrive this fall.

But the current Mac OS doesn’t support the iCloud Drive, Apple explains in its support document: “If you upgrade to iCloud Drive before OS X Yosemite is available, documents on your Mac won’t be kept up to date with documents on your devices with iOS 8, or on iCloud.com.”

The iOS 8 is on its way to iPhones and iPads, but the updated version for desktop, Yosemite, is still receiving the final tweaks before it launches to the public.
