Micromax has launched a new budget smartphone running Android KitKat 4.4.2, the Micromax Bolt A064 at Rs. 3,301. Before the launching of the smartphone, the Bolt A064 was officially listed on the company’s site, now it’s available via a couple of online retailers.
The new Bolt A064 is a low mid-range phone, and features a 3.5-inch (320×480 pixels) HVGA display and powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6571) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.
It comes with 4GB of internal storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The handset sports a 2-megapixel rear fixed focus camera with LED flash, while also houses a secondary 0.3-megapixel fixed-focus front facing camera.
It offers dual-SIM support GSM+GSM) and runs the Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. Regarding connectivity options, the Bolt A064 includes GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS, and Bluetooth, but unfortunately doesn’t support 3G connectivity.
It packs a 1400mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 5 hours of talk-time and up to 150 hours of standby time on 2G networks.
The Micromax Bolt A064 comes pre-installed with general Micromax apps such as M! Live, Opera, M! Games, M! Insurance, M! Pick, M! Security, Clean Master, Hike, Games Club, Launcher: Mad, Saavn, Zapper Games: Bounce Ball Classic, Bubble X Slice, and Zombie Smasher.
The handset is available only in Black color, andSnapdeal is offering the handset at discounted price tag of Rs. 3,270. Micromax has not said anything regarding the offline availability of the Bolt A064 smartphone.
