Google officially announces the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Android Wear smartwatches

Yesterday, reports emerged online saying that Google might release the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its Wear smartwatch platform. Now today the company has officially announced the release of sweeter Lollipop update Android Wear smartwatches.

The update will bring several new features and enhancements, one of them is watch face, which is one of the most exciting and advertised feature of Android Wear.

This means Android Wear users can download several new watch faces from the Google Play Store to give their watch a new look and feel.
