Samsung’s upcoming flagship device, the Galaxy S6 might finally see the light of the day on March 1, alongside the much-anticipated curved-display variant, the Galaxy S Edge, just like the Galaxy Note Edge.
We are saying this because Samsung is holding a Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event scheduled for March 1, and for this event the company has started sending out invites.
Currently, the information is scarce regarding which device will be unveiled at the event, but the image on the invite hints towards the presence of a curved-display Galaxy smartphone.
However, it is still unconfirmed whether Samsung will introduce two devices or only one with a curved display. There are several rumors surfacing around for a while now regarding the Galaxy S6, but till now they can only be assumed as rumors.
Some recent rumors noted that the Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to feature a 5-inch or 5.1-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, a 20-megapixel or 16-megapixel primary camera with OIS, and built-in wireless charging.
The smartphone is said to arrive in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB built-in storage variants, and also be the first smartphone to support the as-yet-unannounced NFC-based mobile payment service, Samsung Pay.
