At the MWC 2015 Alcatel has launched three smartphones, namely, the Pixi 3 (5.5) 3G, Pixi 3 (5.5) 4G, and the Firefox OS-based Orange Klif.
However, there is no information regarding the pricing and availability of these devices, but we can expect to see them hitting the shelves soon.
The Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 (5.5) 3G is equipped with 3G connectivity and comes with a 5.5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution IPS display.
Other specifications include, a MediaTek MT6580 processor, 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and 2910mAh battery.
The Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 (5.5) 3G runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box and will arrive in two storage variants – 8GB of inbuilt storage and 1GB of RAM, or with 4GB of inbuilt storage and 512MB of RAM, both supports microSD card up to 32GB.
The Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 (5.5) 4G, as the name suggests is a 4G variant of the OneTouch Pixi 3 (5.5) 3G, which is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8909 SoC.
It comes with a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution display and comes only in 8GB inbuilt storage with 1GB RAM configuration.
The company claims that the US variant will support the microSD card up to 32GB, while the global version will include an expansion option of 128GB.
However, there is two camera variants of the smartphone – 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera, or 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
It packs a 2800mAh battery. The third smartphone, Alcatel Orange Klif is a dual-SIM device and runs on Firefox OS and is launched in collaboration with Orange.
The handset features a 3.5-inch HVGA (320×480 pixels) resolution display and is driven by an unspecified 1GHz dual-core MediaTek processor.
Other specs include, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of inbuilt storage with microSD card slot for expanding the storage, 2-megapixel rear camera, 1300mAh battery, 3G connectivity, FM Radio and GPS.
