Till date, iPad users had the choice of using Xero’s regular web interface or an iOS app that was designed for the iPhone.
But version 2.6 of the free Xero app has been rejigged to take advantage of the larger screen when it is running on an iPad.
It works in landscape and portrait orientations, makes it easier to reconcile transactions, and improves the user experience of cash flow reporting, reviewing payments and sending invoices, according to the company.
The update also includes a number of bug fixes, including some relating to the TouchID feature of recent iPhones and iPads.
