Intex has launched a new affordable handset under its Aqua-series, the Aqua Amoled, priced at Rs. 4,540, and is now listed on the company’s site without any availability details.
As the name suggests, the Intex Aqua Amoled comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) Amoled display and obviously, features dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support.
The smartphone runs Android4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.
It includes 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB) and packs a includes connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth.
The Intex Aqua Amoled sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.
The rear camera comes with options like scene detection, face recognition, Panorama, continuous shot, and HDR options. The handset is backed by a 1400mAh battery, which according to the official listing is rated to deliver up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time.
The Aqua Amoled is listed only in two White and Black color variants and comes preloaded with apps such as Intex Zone, Opera Mini, OLX, Newshunt, Saavn, Intex Care, and AskMe.
