Flipkart has announced their partnership with eh Spice hotspot stores and their exclusive portfolio of phones will be highlighted offline and of their retail store network. Under their new assisted e-commerce model, customers can try and buy Flipkart range of Smartphone at selected spice hotspot outlets, the company states.
The store staff will be assisting them to place their order on the flipkart app and customers can take their phones delivery at their store an at their home. A quick analysis of their six smartphones will be listed on the OnlyOnFlipkart page will be revealing that their most of the phones will not be exclusive to Flipkart since September. The Asus Zen Fone 2 will not longer an online exclusive to flipkart any further. The galaxy J5 will be available on Amazon Indian and Motorola’s phones will not be exclusive to Flipkart since their September, the Assus zenFone2 will not longer an online exclusive and nexus 6 will be available on Google play store. This will be leaving the Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 and thei two Huawei phone and Honor 4x an honor Holly.
Flipkart will also be unable to leverage some of their online exclusives at offline stores, thinking brands like Asus and Samsung has their own priority stores. According to Flipkart, the association is aimed at reaching out to their larger target audience and their tech savvy customers which can now get the first hand experience of their exclusive products and will be placing their order at their nearby store.
In their recent statement, Sandeep Karwa, director retail Flipkart said that their initiative will be come their big customer conversion tool for Flipkart smartphone category, empowering customers from their tier 3 an tier 4 towns for online shopping.
