Lenovo launches the Vibe K4 Note in India along with AntVR virtual reality headset

After posting a teaser on Twitter in December 2015, Lenovo has finally launched the Vibe K4 Note in India, priced at Rs. 11,999. The K4 Note is successor to the company’s popular K3 Note smartphone launched last year. The Vibe K4 Note will be Amazon India exclusive and will be sold via flash sale model. The first flash sale starts on January 19.

Lenovo also unveiled a Lenovo Vibe K4 Note bundle with AntVR virtual reality headset, priced at Rs. 13,299, and the first few flash sales will only sell these paired devices at a special price of Rs. 12,499. The VR headset will be available in Tuxedo Black color variant and comes at a price tag of Rs. 1,299.

The Lenovo K4 Note is a mid-ranger and packs some decent specifications like a a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 401ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a light-version of the company’s Vibe UI skin on top.

It is a dual-SIM dual-4G device, driven by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC, coupled with 3GB of DDR3 RAM. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF autofocus, an f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone LED flash, while also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Vibe K4 Note comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). On the  connectivity front, the handset include 4G LTE, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and FM radio. It also packs a 3300mAh battery equipped with fast charging that’s rated to deliver up 265 hours of 3G standby time, and 22 hours of 3G talk time.

The highlight of the smartphone is its fingerprint scanner, placed below the camera module on the rear panel and it also includes dual-front speakers, alongside Dolby Atmos audio.
