True Balance is an app that allows prepaid mobile phone users to check balance, Currently available only on Android platform, True Balance is developed and managed by Balance Hero. Set up on 17 July 2014 by Cheolwon Lee and launched on 25th September 2014, the app aims to change prepaid mobile management landscape, True Balance with its one touch, fully loaded features of all aspects related with data consumption  and prepaid balance.

The Delhi-basedstartup is focusing on offering reliable balance information. “We are constantly working towards ensuring 100% accuracy levels of balance information for our customer. While the market may be witnessing a competitive landscape, we believe our user base and ability to ‘Listening’ to the user needs and adapting is what differentiates us,” said founder.

He mentioned that before launching the app’s beta version in Delhi NCR, the company carried out detailed information gathering on prepaid user needs. After collecting related information, the app was launched. “We believe customer feedback plays a very critical role in the evolution of our product. We are already in line with constant enhancement of the platform”, said Charlie.

Indian prepaid mobile users have limited options in checking and tracking their mobile balance. On an average 2 to 3 USSD codes were being sent by subscribers for its mobile balance checking. Each time they need to dial USSD codes manually users which inadvertently waste time.

It works offline and can be used with single and dual SIM mobile handsets. The app shares following key features for the users. It offers one touch call & data balance check, auto balance update after each data SMS sessions and purchase, call and data deductions history, traction details and future plans.

True balance just crossed 1 million downloads worth over 45% active users. The app is rated 4.3 on Google Play.  Presently, it is live in five cities – Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Haryana and Karnataka. The company is planning to expand its services all over the country within one month.
