LG has launched two smartphones under its new X-Series, called the X cam and X screen. These smartphones will be officially revealed alongside the LG G5 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2016 event in Barcelona, on February 22.
The company did not announced the pricing of both handsets, though we can expect the company to announce the price in March. The X cam and X screen smartphones will be launched in key markets in Asia, Europe and Latin America starting next month.
The company touts that the new X-Series of smartphones are focused to customers who do not want all the high-end features of premium smartphone but still “desire a great camera as well as advanced display.”
The LG X cam comes with dual rear cameras and at the front features 3D bending glass which gives it curved finish. The LG X screen, on the other hand, sports an “Always On” second screen which so far has been seen on LG’s premium V10 smartphone.
The LG G5 is also rumored to feature an “Always On” display.
Talking about other technical specifications, the LG X screen sports a 4.93-inch In-cell display with a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The second screen is 1.76-inch and placed just above of the main display.
