Rocket League, a vehicle-based soccer video game, which was only available for consoles finally making its way to the retail stores near you later this year. But gamers who were waiting for this game to arrive at their nearest retail stores will not be able to buy this from retail stores til the end of this year.
Psyonix Studios vice president Jeremy Dunham made this announcement in an episode of Kinda Funny Games’ Colin and Greg Live. According to him, the deal was signed this week, and people will hear more news soon in next coming days.
“We’re going to be announcing very soon that Rocket League’s coming to retail,” announced Dunham. “We’re going to be talking about who our partner is, when [you] can expect to see it, and what comes in that package.”
A shared post from the official Rocket League Facebook page also confirmed this saying that “make sure the retail version is special.” The developer also hinted that the Mac version “is getting closer,” but it didn’t provide any firm release date.
Additionally, according to the Dunham, we could also be hearing about more new Rocket League content later this year.
