MedECube, Gurgaon-based healthcare startup, has raised $4 million in series A funding round from Artiman Ventures. Artiman is a California-based VC firm and the sole investor in the startup.
Founded by Dilpreet Brar, MedECube aims to bridge the gap between patients and doctors by providing them access to doctors in major hospitals and clinics, including emergency care. “We provide an end-to-end service, from the day a person learns that they need medical care, to helping them understand what care they need, where, and by whom,” said Brar.
These days healthcare sector is becoming more business centric, rather than serving people at affordable cost and it is difficult to analyze the right cost of a right treatment, the right facility and finding the right doctors. So MedECube is working to solve these problems by understanding the patient needs, articulated as well inarticulate, and develop a solution that fits the need.
Now the company is targeting on both domestic and international clients and will also provide assistance to patients post-hospitalization to help them take medications and tests on time.
