TechCrunch Disrupt, a three day single track conference and startup competition, is about to begin in New York on May 9th.

Among the Speakers are Director of Product at Facebook Fidji Simo, Founder of Foursquare Dennis Crowley, SVP of Ads and Commerce for Google Sridhar Ramaswamy, and Chief Advisor of Uber’s Board of Directors David Plouffe. Startup Alley is a central feature of Disrupt where hundreds of companies showcase their talents and technologies to investors and the media, with different companies exhibiting each day. A “Wild Card Winner” will be selected out of the presenters to be awarded a place in Startup Battlefield.
Some of you might be familiar with Hackathons, and the Hackathon at Disrupt is sure to be fun with hundreds of coders and developers coming together to form teams and build something from the ground up in just 24 hours.
TechCrunch Disrupt is sure to be a very cool event, and it would be interesting to see what products are shown and released.
